Charging Policy

With the exception of peripatetic music tuition the school will charge only for activities carried outside the normal school day. However there will be occasions when we will ask for voluntary contributions towards an activity, for example a school trip. We stress that any money given is on a totally voluntary basis, but at the same time the event may not be able to take place unless sufficient funds are raised in this way. Where voluntary contributions are essential for an activity to take place you will be informed in writing. The amount asked for will not exceed that required from each individual for the event to take place. All monies will be refunded in full in the event of cancellation.

No charges will be made for materials used during the school day. A voluntary contribution may be asked for to provide raw materials used in an article that is taken home by a child, e.g. cooking. The contribution will not exceed the cost of the materials alone. It is stressed that the contribution is voluntary.
